2011: Wedding photography from India and around
A wedding in progress ,Jaipur
I was rummaging through the pictures I took in 2011 and found on each trip or an outing I have taken a few wedding photographs.
Swati during wedding,New Delhi
These images have not necessarily came out of wedding photography assignments, but because I happened to be there. Like the image above is that of my sister during her wedding. Or the one below that was taken during a trip that was focussed on photojournalism.

Gul and Clint, Avyalik,Turkey
I think I enjoyed taking these pictures because I was allowed to do my job. All of them were spontaneous and I just took them instead of unnecessary poses. Imagine what would have happened if someone would have asked Gul and Clint to pose above ? A very stiff image i guess
Wedding in Turkey
This is the best way to take wedding photographs .You possibly might end up having pictures that might make it to your photography portfolio. But also then, the photographers should focus on improving their skills rather than doing all kinds of wizardry on photoshop and taking tonnes of pictures to get a few nice shots.
A pre -wedding ceremony takes place in New Delhi
I enjoyed taking these pictures and the access really was not difficult. Those where i stayed long ended up as wedding photo features .Weddings are a great source for taking interesting pictures. So many are happening at a given point of time. Its humorous, exotic, full of energy and cultural in nature.Hope it spreads
