The incidence of walking in Bir and The Deer Institute ,Himachal Pradesh
I was in Bir, Himachal Pradesh a week back for a weekend break. It has been long since I visited Himalayas and the weather of Delhi was such that it was a perfect time for the getaway. My friend called up and she was heading there to take Vipasana classes and Buddhist teachings in The Deer Institute ,Bir. Here are a few images from the trip.
The weather was perfect for an outing . Though there was less of Sun ,I totally enjoyed hiking in the nature and took strolls for a few hours everyday to explore the area.Walking, always has been such a wonderful pleasure. There ‘s never a reason to stop.
“It is such a wonderful ability to walk. What can’t be sensed ,smelled or observed by any other means can be solved by walking. There curious little incidents can only be presented when you wait, watch and walk ” -from the journal, Bir 2012
And while I was wandering around, people were attending classes on Buddhism and Vipasana. Here’ a packed class with students from all across the world present in The Deer Institute.
