Michael Palin adventures
This guy is seriously blessed and lucky to have travelled so many places .I have been following Michael Palin through his books, videos and travel journeys for the past five odd years.
The first time I ever saw his travel documentary was Around the world in 80 days. I picked it up and was mesmerized by the old world charm. Not to mention his jolly good nature and sense of humor. For that travel series I ended up adding a few items to my own travel bucket list
1) Do the orient Express
2) Visit Ship yard industry i Dubai and travel around in Dhow
I followed the series with reading a few more of his books: Sahara, New Europe and Hemingway Adventure . I enjoyed the books, but then felt the videos and documentaries add more excitement and depth in understanding his trips as many of the places were new to me. Recently finished watching his six series on Himalayas . Luckily for many a lot of his videos are there on youtube. Here’s one from the Himalayas series .
Michael Palin must be one of the most travelled person in the world at the moment . And with his sense of humor .
Now I know how to do Nepal to Tibet
