A breed for healthy living : How Naggar and Scott Jurek helped me
There will never be another 2014. It has been an incredible year of positives and many firsts .
One of them has been figuring out my health routine .You know how much there’s in our lives which we don’t need…so much information, much tasks to do , many friends/people/places to visit , goals to achieve and blah blah..earlier it was television and now it is social media that is cramping up ( have you realised how short we are of time ?)..but to be very honest it is us that are leading everyone towards its .. I wanted to declutter and make my life simpler to my best possible abilities…starting with tummy ..it is the only time where I can make my routine all the possibilities .
The initial thrust came upon in Naggar I visited this quaint sleepy village in Himalayas with my close friends in Oct 2014. Its a must visit

Then I made a visit to Jaipur, where I met my old buddy,Neeraj. Seeing him after nine months was transformational . He looked fitter, learner and more energetic. All a basis of good eating habits and routine .
Finally I ended up reading Scott Jurek ‘s book Eat and Run . I first read about Scott in Born to Run by Christopher McDougall. He ‘s incredibly inspiring . His mental will power is beyond belief .
This is my routine ( each is to his now, but this is what I keep in mind for myself )
No processed food ( reduced)
Less acidic food- tea, grains,spices
Reduce dinner food ( done)
Gap between fruits and processed food ( reduced)
Drink Water slowly ( reduced)
Concentrated effort on one thing at a time ( doing)
Yes to nuts, vegetables ,vegan juice,sprouts( doing)
No alcohol, junk ( done)
Less oil, sugar ,salt, milk products ( doing)
Sleep by 10 pm. Wake up by 6 am ( doing)
No Sunday Laptop ( doing)
Control the mind ( doing- improving my will power )
JOG FOR First few months . Then start join gym. And skips ( doing)
Focus on breathing ( to do)
And it feels good…
